Todd Bouman-QB-Ravens

Quarterback Todd Bouman just signed with the Baltimore Ravens to a one-year contract worth $830,000. It looks like Bouman, 36, who hasn’t played in a game since 2005 beat out Joey Harrington and Chris Simms. Bouman will back up rookie starter Joe Flacco in Week 1 while both Kyle Boller (torn labrum) and Troy Smith (infected tonsils) are out. The quarterback situation in Baltimore can be summed up like this: If you were waiting to get the movie “Waterboy” on Netflix and it didn’t come, you might rent “Drop Dead Fred” or “Turner and Hooch” at the local store for a dollar, but on the way there you decide to walk back home, and look for “Robin Hood: Men In Tights”, “Baseketball”, and “Weekend At Bernie’s 2″ which all turn out to have scratches on them, and finally decide to watch “Coming To America” which is sitting right on the coffee table.
